Suzanne Hamel

Suzanne’s practice is concentrated on private equity, venture capital, emerging company representation, general corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions. Suzanne Hamel’s clients include private equity firms, public and private companies, emerging companies, and individual investors.

Suzanne advises her clients on corporate and securities law matters, including day-to-day corporate counseling, investments, mergers, acquisitions, sale of assets, private placements, employment, non-competition, consulting and nondisclosure and assignment of invention agreements. Suzanne joined the firm in 2008.

Prior to joining BRL Law Group LLC, Suzanne was an associate at WilmerHale and Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP and then outside general counsel for BioSystem Solutions, Inc. and Ticket Technology Holding Company, L.L.C.

Suzanne received her J.D. degree from George Washington University School of Law and received her B.S., magna cum laude, from Lesley College. During law school, Suzanne was a member of Law Review, a Research Assistant, and a Dean’s Fellow. Suzanne also interned for The Honorable David S. Tatel of the U.S. Court of Appeals District of Columbia Circuit and at the EEOC and worked at Hogan Lovells.

Suzanne is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland and Washington, DC.
